Bio:
| back Gregoor van der Loo Gregoor was born at 20-06-1975 in Roermond and grew up in a little village called Linne. When he was 18 years old he was kicked out of his fathers house and that is all he wants to say about that. But you can listen to the song "Childhood facade" and hear how he feels about that. Gregoor always has been very fond of music. At the
age of six his weakness for the voice and music of Sting began, after hearing
"Walking on the moon" on the radio (not yet knowing who it was). |

| He began to take clarinet lessons
from his uncle, but soon lost his interest. After that he started playing a little bit of
guitar and he still does (a little). At the age of ten he got his first drumset, took a
few lessons and never stopped playing the drums. He always has been interested in different styles of music, from metal to pop and drum n bass. When he was seventeen years old he started singing in a band called "No Exit". This band started out playing covers from bands like "Fates Warning", Queensryche", "Psychotic Waltz" and also wrote a lot of their own music, varying from metal to spacerock. In 1993, while still singing in "No Exit", he joined the band "Aura", better known now as "Lemur Voice". He also took a few singing lessons from an operasinger. After "No Exit" split up, three other members started the band "Mushrooms". A few years later Gregoor joined them for a while playing synths! His interest in analog synthesizers started when he first
heard the spacerock music of "Ozric Tentacles". This instrumental (English) band
is one of his His main influences for his singing were and still are:
Sting, John Arch, Simon le Bon and a lot of popmusic from the 80s. At home he freaks out on his analog synthesizer.
