Bio: Marcel Coenen

Marcel, born September 21, 1972,
started to play guitar at the age of 11.

In 1988, Marcel joined the band
SPEEDICA which was a real
speed metal band. This band later changed their name into FORM which still exists today, Marcel rejoined this band in March 2000. With Form Marcel released a CD called " I Choose My Own" in 1994. This band played powermetal with much melody.

In 1992 Marcel also started a project named APOGEE together with Franck. They recorded a demotape together in 1993.
Marcel and Gregoor both also appear on the album "Working Man, a tribute to Rush", on the song Freewill. Marcel also recorded a solo-CD (Guitartalk, check out http://www.mp3.com/marcelcoenen), he is playing in a band called Time Machine which is a Joe Satriani cover band, and he also appears in the band Stormrider with whom he plays old school hardrock and heavy metal covers. Marcel became best rock guitarist in the Netherlands in 1998.
Currently Marcel is having a new progressive band called Sun Caged, and he also plays in the bands Fifth.
